Introduction

Let me introduce myself. My name is Vivienne Soesman and I teach English at Dalton Voorburg. I have been doing so for longer than I care to remember. This autumn my colleague and I will accompany a group of our students to Temecula. I was in Temecula three times before, twice also accompanying groups of our students and last year with the Leidschendam/Voorburg Temecula Sister City Committee of which I am also a member. Just to tell you a little about myself I have uploaded some photos to the blog.

This grey blob is our Great Dane called Noa. She is the loveliest dog you can imagine and I am sure I will miss her dearly the thirteen days we'll be in California.

This is Storm (platypuss as we also call her). Humans, dog and other cats are part of her life just for her convenience.

This is Mark. He is my husband and also teaches English at my school. He is also a driving instructor. He was in Temecula twice before, so he knows where I'll be in October.

This is Didier, my younger son, his friend Charlotte and me waiting for the train to take us to Schiphol for a flight to Florida last October.

Me again, looking a bit apprehensive (I can't remember why) in our apartment in Florida.
